OUR STORY
About us
We didn’t start from scratch.
When we combined decades of mechanical engineering and marine biology in 2016, we shared a single conviction:
The future of seaweed cultivation will be built on technology.
From the beginning, our ambition has been clear:
to fuse engineering and biology into one unified discipline — unlocking the full potential of seaweed farming at scale.
What started as a small R&D initiative on the island of Misje outside Bergen has grown into a global cultivation technology platform, supporting seaweed farmers across multiple continents — from the Norwegian coast to New Zealand.
Our philosophy is simple: give farmers the freedom to grow the species they want, where they want — efficiently, sustainably, and at scale. We do this by lowering barriers to entry, reducing operational complexity, and delivering modular systems backed by data, automation, and hands-on experience.
